Yes, every unit/character must start the game mounted in a vehicle. It is perfectly acceptable to buy your warboss a trukk, start the game mounted in it, and then move him to a battlewagon. This way you have an extra trukk for emergency re-grouping. I do this, works nicely.

Thanks for answering this question, @MouseC112 because I had a similar one and didn't want to start a new thread. I customized my warboss's truck to look like a real tow truck Victoria BC company, haha. It's a homage to my dear friend Jeremy who owns the company and also plays the miniature games. We love playing obscure games like this, especially when they still have followings.
