Correct me if Im wrong, but battlesuit sprues only come with one of each weapon... is there any mean to equip them with twin weapon besides buying another sprue or making the piece yourself???

I usually just put 1 of each on each arm.... I assume the tau targeting computers can take care of the twin-linking.

I have 9 crisis and 3 broadsides. Once you have more than a few it is easier to swap weapons around. Especially once you have the broadsides. They come with metal missile launchers and the look very cool on the model. I try not to glue the weapons on to the suits. They generally hold on well. A little putty will help if they fall off.

It also depends on who you play with. As long as you have the details on paper of what weapons you have they shouldn’t be a big deal.

I personally think the t/l weapons on different arms is kinda stupid, (it just doesn't fit with the fluff of twin linking, though I guess the whole twin linking thing itself doesn't make much sense either).

I think it's better to just say that the weapon on one arm is t/l.

actually, I just made a Crisis with t/l fusion guns, it looks pretty slick to have both on top of his shoulders.

Just buy several models and use the plasma guns from one model to add to the other and maybe giving the other model some gear from the first one, that's the simplest way to do it.

I think they look very cool with one on each arm, and I like to give my broadside plasma too (on paper).

I think Ill try to make some out of greenstuff and see how it looks.

They look cool with one on each arm, it's just annoying that the two of them fire together as one shot.

And I think you should be able to make them pretty easily out of some modeling clay. I've made some pretty good plasma weapon replicas just by rolling clay into the right size then customizing it for a little detail.

You could make moulds out of green stuff and then sorta "Cast" them in green stuff, not done that for a while but it usually works

I think the mold is the best idea. I'll try to make a re-usable one out of Fimo.

---

Well the mold idea didnt work so well.
First I tried with un-baked stuff, but I couldnt open it without deforming it, and if I tried to make just one half, it would get the shape right. So I actually tried putting the stuff with the original gun in the oven, having made a fault line all around it. It worked better, but still not right enough to my taste. The gun didnt melt, but ended up with its texture slightly damaged. The biggest problem is all the little chunk of stuff stuck in its details. It'll still look good under a coat of paint I think. Anyway, Im back to zero, so I guess I'll try to make one the old, regular way.
