Unique Models

I was wondering, which chapters have their own unique models for basic marines? I know that space wolves do, and black templars. I know there are more but I can't seem to find all of them. Most specifically, Salamanders and Imperial Fists.

The only other chapter i can think of at the moment that has a different model for their standard marine would be GK marines.
Iron Hands And Dark Angels have their own special tactical squad boxes

I dont see any of those on GWs site.
They do, I saw them on the american site, don't knwo if they are still there. We've still got a few around at the RT store I go too...The Iron hands one is especially sweet.

Neither Salamanders nor Imperial Fists have a their own troops box set, unfortunately.
As far as I know, only Dark Angels and Space Wolves tactical squads come in thier own ready-made boxes.

For all other chapters, you probably have to buy special bits from the online store to convert the normal tactical box squad. Many of the First Founding Chapters have thier own metal shoulder pads with thier icons embossed on them that you can order also.

Iron Hands I know for sure have plenty of bits to choose from. Black Templars have plastic crusader bits, but I think that theyre sold out of them and aren't going to make anymore or something... IDK for sure about that one.

Forge World makes some awesome Chapter-related symbols and extras for the vehicles, though they are sometimes on the pricy side. It just depends on how into conversions and your specific chapter you are.

Anyways, Cheers and good luck!

Don't Blood Angels have a special squad too? I think I remember seeing one once.

well there's this, doesn't look very special to me though. http://oz.games-workshop.com/games/40k/spacemarines/catalog/bloodangels/marines.htm
i saw a salamanders tac squad boxd set pn ebay. it was a new box too.
I saw that too...but don't know if it's legit.
For salamanders and the like the best you can do is get the chapters specific shoulder pads (not from FW). They should still be on sale on the online store though I haven't checked.
Well I know for sure that the following have had box sets or still do:
Black Templar
Space wolves (pretty much all of their units)
Dark Angels (though the only real difference is a metal sarge and a plasma cannon)
Blood angels death company (not sure if that counts)
Iron hands (much like dark angels, only has a diff. Sarge as far as I know)

As far as I know for sure, thats it.

yeah, i've had all of those minus the DA box. but, yeah, like you said....it's just that sergeant and a plasma cannon that distinguishes it.

however, there are DA marines in blister packs that are wearing robes over their armor.

the Black Templars and Iron Hands box sets are my favorites because of all the cool custom stuff they stick in there. the BT box has all sorts of neat little trinkets etc, and the IH is full of, obviously, bionics and the like.

(the BT box was the first new tactical squad box i've bought...and i was very pleased to see the bookoos of purity seals :}....the old boxes had very few purity seals)
