I vote Space Wolves.

It's close, but I think the SW will get enough models into combat to wade through all those squishy mere-humans. Not enough guardsmen would be left to adequatley hold the objective.

i think that the 3 pie plates will be enough to kill the space wolves, every squad has a plasma gun and a lascannon. I don't think that the wolves will be able to kill that many gaurdsmen.

I agree. The amount of firepower should allow domination of the shooting phase and it's probable that by the end, the wolves won't have any scoring units left.

The first Platoon has 15 S7 shots between it, the second has 5 and 5 S8 shots.

20 S7 shots=5 Glances, at least 2 Rhino's out of the game.

5 ML=2 Glances, possibly annother 1.

2 S8 Ordnacnce templates hurt Rhinos, or maim any SW disembarking.

The Basalisk can add its fire when needed, at a Rhino. Orthe heads of the small Long Fangs squad.

If the Scouts turn up on thier turn 3 then the IG may well have had 3 turns to get his Russ' off his table edge. If they do turn up they provide a lovely Hellhound target.

If the SW do get closer, then they cant assault direct out of a Rhino, if they are close enough to disembark and assault next turn the Rhino's are in plasma rapid fire range, so double the frepower. If they do survive to combat then if the IG has spread then they may well find themselves isolated and unable to consolidate into the next squad.

Then the Stormtroopers drop onto the objective.

The firepower coming from the guard is likely to do more damage than the Wolvies are able to lose. Also, the Wolves are going to have a rough time of taking out those Russes.

Actually, 2 lascannons, and 4 heavy bolters would sink rihnos faster. But obviously, shooting the ordance at marines would be better.

The scouts are good, but eventually the IG can beat them in CC, since there is only 4 of them. Or just kill them, if they dont assault anything.

To much shooty power from this IG list. IG win.
