It seems to me that Vypers armed with dual Shuriken Cannon or Shuriken Cannon and Scatter laser serve a very similar purpose to Warp Spiders: fast anti-infantry or -light vehicles. Warp Spiders may be more resilient, and Vypers may be better against vehicles and some infantry, due to their weapons' AP value. I'm curious - what do you think is the better all-around choice?

I'd say warp spiders. Warp spiders don't go down to a single shot and can also hide after rattling off some shots.

I still like vypers, mainly due to their cheapness and weapon options, but warp spiders are a more effective killing machine.

I am inclined, under normal circumstances, to agree with Rork, however, based on impending 5th ed, spiders would appear to be a better option for future proofing
