I'm curious as to how he's performed for others,so I created this thread. Feel free to post a list of what Kharn achieved in 1 game. I'll start:

Belial on jetbike
10 Man tactical squad
Devastator squad
vindicator

He ost his supporting unit of berzerkers while fighting the tactical squad, so the last two he destroyed alone.

Ooooo, I've played 1 game so far with a proxied kharn, and I ran him and a 7 man berserker squad with the fluff being that kharn was a frenzied dark apostle while the berserkers were his personal bodyguard, I will be posting the list later today. Anyways, Kharn + company killed (at a 1500 level) an ironclad w/ hurricane bolter+ seismic hammer, a scout squad and land speeder storm, a rhino, 4 of his own berserkers, 10 marines, and 2 th/ss termies before vulkan and his bodyguard beat them decisively. Awesome, fun game, though i rolled 3 1's to hit in a row and that hurt :(.

For me kharn has killed a Dreadnought and its drop pod ride, rhino, tactical squad,hive tyrant, some fire warriors and a large group of gaunts.
I was so happy when he killed that dreadnought because no matter what happens it usually some how finds a way to kill my defiler.

What hasn't kharn killed forme is probably a better question for me! Seriously this guys amazing, he is perfect for hacking apart elite units that reli on their armour and high weapon skill to stay alive.

Since I have been using him for about 2 years now, I'm not going to post an extensive list on everything he has killed. However, in my last game against the Death Wing, he killed an entire squad of Termies including their lord (can't remember what the SM's call them right now), a termie Chaplain,and a Venerable Dreadnaught. He did lose both of his squads of Berzerkers due to a TON of enemy fire directed to kill him and ended with one wound left.

So far for me Kharn has killed a Callidus Assassin, a Squad of SM Assault troops, a Command Squad and a BT High Marshal back to back oh, and 2 of the 10 Zerkers that where his escort. So in my oppinion, he ROCKS!

last game for me he killed two 10 man tactical squads, a dreadnought and 15 scouts before being brought down by sustained lascannon fire :(

He looked totally worth his points in the codex but now i'm definitely getting him after reading about how good he is.

Ditto. He has pretty much chopped everthing apart in the time I have been using him.

last game: preadtor annihilator, librarian, 10-man marine squad, a cybot and 5 devastors^^
i just love it when the enemy separates his army on 2 flanks. he just needs a rhino near him to block los from shooting and BOOM, almost half an army chopped to pieces by one guy :)

No, if Kharn rolls a 1 and is alone he just misses, he doesn't hit himself.

As an added note, I played nids last night and he killed 1 squad of gaunts and 2 squads of Warriors before being taken down by a Lictor, a Carnifex and another squad of Warriors (yes, he assaulted me with 8 CC beasts and it took him until his last attack to take down Kharn). We ended up drawing the game as we both contested each others objectives.

Kharn rocks! The steamroller from Khorne just keeps on going. Jumps out of a Landraider, together with 9 other crazies.
Last game against 'Nids:
-Hive Tyrant + 2 Bodyguards
-Unit of 32 Hormagaunts (overran)
-2 Raveners

Most noteable over the course of years:
-Dark Eldar Wych Lord with Succubi retinue
-Bloodthirster
-Grand Master Belial

I thought a fun way to get some cheap scenery would be to buy a santa's village after christmas and then kill Santa. Its TOTALLY worth it.

I managed to get my buddy out with 1000 pts of Space Wolves that aren't even finished yet, and he had Ulrik the Slayer with 10 blood claws, 1 wolf guard with power fist and a squad of 7 fenrisian wolves. I assaulted with Kharn and 9 Berserkers. Kharne killed the blood claws, the wolf guard, wounded Ulrik once, then took the assault from the wolves, killed 3 of his own Zerkers.

So there wer were, the last round of their combat with both Kharn and Ulrik both with 1 wound each, and facing off man-to-man, killed each other in the final turn. With no one else really left on the table to watch the final showdown between these two magnificent champions, they died staring at each other in frustration and rage.

last game I played...him and 7 berserkers charged 20 or so orks and killed them in one round. Next round they were charged by 12 ork shoota boys...kharn and his buddies killed them in the first round.

I know this might sound stupid and ignorant, but what about Kharn fighting in a huge unit of summoned Daemons? They've got an invulnerable save and they're the cheapest thing that he can roll with in our codex. Berzerkers are like what, 23 points per to get their heads lopped off by kharn when he flips out, with no invulnerable save to save them from Kharn's wrath. And he's got a handy dandy personal icon to toss them on. Kharn does seem like generates his own combat res to borrow a fantasy term. Has anyone tried this and had it fail with the utmost epicfulness?

Played against Space Wolves tonight, in which Kharn killed a 7 man squad of Grey Wolves and Njal Stormcaller in the first round of attacks (with great rolling on my part all of Kharn's attacks hit and wounded) Njal got his attacks, scored 1 wound (in which I saved), then ended up running and being cut down! I'd say he more than made his points back this game!

As for the Summoned Daemons idea, it seems pretty solid and I'd love to hear how it turns out but I'd still rather run Berzerkers. The main reason i say this (outside of the fact that Berzerkers are better overall) is that on the off chance the transport Kharn is in gets destroyed and he is forced out before his troupe of demons shows up, he's a sitting duck to get picked off at range. If you're looking to run him with some cheaper models that won't cost as much if he betrays you, run him with regular, vanilla CSM. They're only 2 pts more/model than the demons and are better in almost every way (minus the invulnerable save).
