I would like to know all your opinions on who will eventually in a ll honesty most likely take over the galaxy. I'm not saying support whichever army you have but think calmly and rationaly about it. Who will be victorious.

The way i see it there are a lot of contenders.

1) Chaos. The chaos gods are immortal and they have all the power of the warp backin them up. Untold legions etc.
2) Tyranids. Who know how many hive fleets there actually are. THere could be more than anyone can handle.
3) Orks. war is what they do, and there good at it. They love to fight and someone is always the best at something when they love it.
4) U've also got the Imperium, millions of worlds, billions of troops.

Need i go on. I would like youre opinion

The only race (if any) that will eventually rule the Galaxy is the Orks.

They are masters of war and there are more Orks in the galaxy than all the other races put together.

The only way to rid the Galaxy of Orks would be to destroy the entire Galaxy.

the orks will definately inherit the galaxy. the ork empire is actually larger than the Imperium and their gods are way more powerful than the chaos gods simply because theres so many of them and their sole exsistance is dedicated to fighting which is what fuels their gods.

WAAAAAGGHHH da Orks!!!

So alot of you are for orks. i didn't that would be so but fair enough. Surely you must think the tyranids have a good shot though coz as i say for all we know there are way more tyranids than anything else even ork. I think of it as the tyranids are from another galaxy which they've completely consumed there number would be unimaginable unless they split up and went off to different galaxies.

do tyranids use the warp to travel? if not, it kinda makes sense that all weve seen so far are fleet that were sent out ages ago.

edit: hey! thats post 100, and Im looking forward to many many more!

I think they do use the warp, its just that in the void outside the galaxy where they've been travelling there is no warp coz there is no material realm either so u can't warp from galaxy to galaxy. Thats why the chaos gods are only really the chaos gods of our galaxy. If they were the chaos gods of the entire universe they would be way stronger.

Oh and congrats on 100. A fully fledged marine hey, very nice. Just nine more for me and i'll be joining u.

but as long as there is a thinking mind there will be chaos, like how the eldar were once rulers but they fell and created slaneesh. if the orcs rule then they will eventually fall and create... Chunka Bunk, god of illiteracy? :p so i guess the point i am trying to make is i think in order for a race to rule completley it would have to be tyranid a non thinking race

despite the numbers of the orks, I still think there are more humans. Heck there are enough humans living on worlds NOT descovered by the empire alone to outnumber the orks. Although given the tenatious nature of the orks, they might never go away, regardless of who owns the galaxy. Orks are older than even necrons, but they have lived long enough to see the necrons fall, the eldar fall, and now Humanity is up to bat. Orks will never rule, but they will never die either.

Humans have the best shot at ruling the galaxy in my opinion. Its just that humanity as WE know it might not still be around. Humans are allways getting more and more psykers. It wont be too terribly long before the entire human population has psyking abilities. At that point, humans will have to have conquered the warp, in every way. The Chaos gods will flaunder and die.

Tyranids even show this. They ruled one galaxy, time for another. Their psykic entity is so large that the warp goes blank when they arive on scene. Humans may some day do the same thing. While the Tyranids have the armies to take over the galaxy over night, they simply take too long. Humans will have evolved into a different species by the time Tyranids would have defeated even HALF the galaxy. They are slow creeping doom, but they are working against the clock of human evilution. Their only godsend is that humans dont evolve as fast as the bugs.

Necrons. They lost the galaxy once, I dont see any reason for them to re-take it.

Well then so far the votes stand at:

1 for chaos
1 for necrons
1 for humans
4 for orks
2 for tyrannids

Seems those big old green sod's are in the lead with the tyrannids following close with two.

I'm waiting for someone to say the Tau, and actually have a half decent reason why.

Keep em coming

well if all the orks combined into one big WAAGH! then nothing would be able to stand against them, not even the nids. the ork empire IS larger than the imperium and orks far outnumber mankind by billions, it's just that they are so chaotic that they wont band together.

face it the orks were engineered for the sole purpose of fighting, they have a greater grasp of technology than humans and will emerge the rulers of the galaxy by conquest or survival it does not matter.

Errrr. I think the old ones made the Brain Boyz (who were actually snotlings) who were supper intelligent who then themselves made the ork and gretchin castes as warriors and workers.

Yep thats right, the creators of the orks were super clever snotlings.

Good point. Both races were made for war, but the nids are a step ahead i reckon.
But what about the necrons. As their basically the only race that are not users of the warp with the C'tan basically trying to destroy the warp. If they managed that surley all warp relying races (everyone else) would suffer terribly. Especially nids as the hive mind wouldn't be able to reach them they'd lose all drive.

I still say nids have a better chance im just trying to get the points across for all the races.

Hi,

I think that all races will die out soon due to war apart from orks and nids. They are basicaly numberless.

After everyone is dead the orks and the nids will fight it out for milenia. Eventualy as the battle rages and as many are created as die the nids will get board and move on the the next area of space. The orks will stay, this area has been there home. soon after this the orks with no one th fight will fight them selves even more than curentaly and a war that lasts for ever but just getts bigger and bigger will come into affect.

Orks and Tyranids have the good potential to take over the Material Universe, the Warp will never be taken. Although the Imperium has the Primarchs. they may wake up, Cypher may return the Lion Sword and we may have the Star Child, but then again there wont be a universe to fight for anymore. The Machine God (Dragon) may awaken and take the Imperium, although if the Primarchs were alive i doubt that.
So many complications in the 40K universe.
