This one is probably for the veterans and people with grey hair but I thought it was a brilliant read.

Swan Riders, A Pantry Guard (!), Thieves and Chefs everywhere (as you would expect) and just 100% inspiration !

Yep, there are some pretty solid fan books out there. Good luck ever getting anyone to let you use them though. Which, by the way, I find stupid- a lot of these books are better thought out than their official brethren.
