Well.

Some news for you all.

Starting sometime this weekend, I'm going to be cutting myself off from the internet - not literally, metaphorically.

I'm going through a period in my life right now, kind of like "finding myself"... and the internet is a serious distraction in my life right now.

I won't have AIM/MSN/email/anything else while I'm "gone." Just too many things to get straight in my life, and the internet is not a necessary part of it.

You can all feel free to send me PMs/emails if you want, and eventually (no telling how long) I will see them.

I won't be getting off for another day or two, as I want to see any comments/questions left before I leave.

Thanks to all of you for giving me a great time at LO, and hopefully, when this is all over, I will be back to throw some more posts at you.

I moved late last year, and had the chance to become whoever I wanted to be, but I'm still the same old me, admittedly I have made minor changes, but they are changes to my view of life and the world around me, more than anything else.
Don't change so much that you aren't you, but make sure you like who you are.

I kinda figured I would get me my own copy copy of the Firefly series, Wich I by the way have no clue what so ever what it's all about. ^_^ A friend of mine said I should look it up and now i tumble over this little forum...? I watched Serenity just yesterday. I think its a fantastic movie and I am going to watch the Show Now. I am putting on a brown coat.'

I apologize for being a thread Necro here, but i cant resist, and i dont want to let this wondeful topic die a slow painful death as our beloved firefly is.

I only recently saw the Serenity movie with my dads encouragement, and iwent into it with low expectations. I watched the movie and loved every minute of it, much to my surprise. I have since developed a huge crush for kaylee, and this drove me to watch the FireFly series on DVD. I watched every single episode within two days and i love the series to death. The characters are all so lovable and i wish that the blood sucking bosses at Fox hadnt cancelled it. I can only hope that Joss considers trying to start over again. Anyways, back to the point. Who is everyones favorite character?

Mine would probably be Kaylee, or Mal. Kaylee because i love her cheery disposition, and shes so adorable and cute! :w00t: Mal is just so awesome, i love his laid back attitude and how much ass he can kick in a sneaky, yet honorable fashion.

I haven't heard anything about the second movie yet, other than Joss was on a wait-and-see, and the cast is more than ready to go again. So far, only rumors abound.

I have the RPG, but I haven't had time to actually join a group and play it yet.

It would be a shame if they werent in it, in some way or another, but i read somewhere that he would like to make a prequel, so they could be in that. That would be far off though.

May i join The Browncoats of LO. I got Firefly on DVD for my birthday back in april and was amazed at how well done a series it was, just very disapointed at how short it was. I haven't seen Serenity since it was in the cinema but it's on order so should get to watch it again soon.

I know it's been a while since anyone posted here, but I thought that I'd post my latest WIP in here, especially since it's a Browncoat (or at least could be a Browncoat)

He's been put together using Empire Free Company (body, head, arms), IG heavy weapon legs, SM Scout shotgun, and misc bits. All the bluetak you can see will definately not be there when he's finished, it's just for placement (even though he is pinned)
I'll finish up the conversion work (smoothing etc) in the next couple of days, and then see about getting him painted up asap.
I want me a shiney Browncoat to play with.
