Witch Hunters!

Hey all!

I have just started collecting WH, i bought the codex today, and after chatting with people in the store for a long time, the WH are possibly one of the best armies available! The models, fluff and rules are amazing! The Arco Flagellents and Penitent engines are one of my favorite units in all 3 GW systems!

Just a few questions, WH hunt: Psykers, mutants and heretics!

Psykers being things like Farseers and magic users?

Heretics being chaos worshippers?

Mutants being people mutated by the Chaos powers?

How do Librarians go un hunted and if WH disagree in the use of magic etc, why are themselves magic users and therefore witches?

I find alot of contradiction here! I may have got it all wrong! Any help would be appreciated!

As long as those Librarians don't run amuck and destroy their masters!

Basically they leave the Librarian's and Inquisitors alone, because they are specially trained and approved by the Ecclesiarchy/Emperor. Both understand that psykers are the future of the Human race. However, should they lose control of themselves, the Sisters of Battle will be knocking on your door.

Easy:

Mutant: Changed by radiation and/or chaos taint that most often leads to latent psychic powers arising. Not good to have rogue psykers. Free Daemon passport.

Heretic: Revoking the Emperor, basically. Governers that try to take whole systems for themselves. Marine Commanders that renegade.

That's about all that I can think of off the top of my head.

Yeah that would explain a little story i read in WD about a Governer that basically got dragged into the back of a Chimera on the orders from an =I= of the Ordo hereticus. Would have hated to be the Governer! "The second acolyte stood hunched over inside the vehicle, laying out his collection of blades and excruciators on a bronze surgical tray."

Thanks for the help mate!
