These numbers are right so far as they go, but there's one missing: Chaos Undivided.

I asked in my local GW recently but can't remember the aswer. Does anyone know the answer to this? I think it's '12', but I'm not certain. Theming my army around it at the moment and I'm slightly worried that it might actually be '11' or '13'....

Lucky numbers kind of demeans them, they are sacred numbers.

That said, I believe Khorne is 8...

The most important, however, is 11, sacred number of Malal.

I've never heard of Chaos Undivided having a sacred number... I mean, Undivided isn't a Chaos God, it's the practice of worshipping the pantheon as a whole, there isn't one being to lay down sacred law for the whole of it. Don't take me 100% on that, I've just never heard of one, and I don't think it would make sense.

 

That sounds fair enough. Agreed re: 'lucky'. Wrong word; my bad.

Also have been told by a member of my local GW that there's no number for Undivided. I may have picked it up wrongly somewhere. *Shrugs*. Agree with what you say - it all makes sense.

Lots of sources - the fact that a squad of marines numbering the "lucky number" or multiple thereof gained a free aspiring champion is adequate to prove it out, but other sources include Realm of Chaos; Lost and Damned and Slaves to Darkness (lovely books!!!) and also quite a few other similar sources....

No no, not lovely sources, absolutely fantastic sources!

Also, in the Dark Heresy corebook, the sacred numbers for each god is listed and they are the same as they always has been (until GW decided that rivalries among the gods and such other important fluff was boring and threw it out the window. Bring on my Tzeentch champion with a blessing of Nurgle and an Axe of Khorne.......................).

 

In the beasts of chaos book a nurgle champion is gifted 7 hounds. So i would say that in FB the same applies.
