icons? like the ones under names that say "Member" and "Senior Member" and such? oh, goodness, that'll go straight to my head
though i do like the thought of being Matthias the Prophet and Fluffmaster (nice ring, eh?)

It takes a certain dedication to become a Fluff-Master; if you don’t want to be a part of the clan and its mission to save the forum from all bad fluff, then why take the test? If you merely wish to test your knowledge, there's a Fluff Competition in the 40k Army Fluff subforum that could need new input. No test will make you a true Fluff-Master anyway; only those willing to help others improve their fluff and share altruistically of their accumulated wealth of fluffy knowledge are truly worthy of the title.
Isn’t this why we have a test here? If people want to join, they have to be able to answer the test with a decent result and also have made themselves visible in the fluff section of the forum. This is a clan not only for those who know a lot, after all, but for those who want to share their knowledge with others. Even if someone knows their fluff and can ace the test, it doesn’t make much sense to let them join if they’re never seen around the fluff section. I think that should have something to do with it too.Addoran said:You might want to consider though limiting the size of your entries, or just taking the top ones or something. After all if 20 people posted 'can I join?' it would be kind of more 'fluff masters and fluff rank and file clan'.
Agreed.Addoran said:If your going to recruit fluff masters, I recommend you make approaches to Giant Mantis and Grandmaster Sanguine, and collect the full set.
Numberofthebeast already made such a topic, although it isn't a poll. But a poll might be a better way of measuring what people want.Addoran said:Hows about we hound the admin to let us make a poll, and then entitle it 'What part of 40k would you like to know more about?/what part of Imperial history don't you understand?' or words to that effect.
Make it a decent menu of topics, and then we write some articles on the top 5/10?
Just an idea.
That's because I don't think there is much that's official, apart from them being involved in the EoT campaign somewhere. I'll stick up what I've Googled, although it shames me to have done so.ze_poodle said:Agreed. In case anyone did not notice, Hivefleet Mordacii is asking for details on the Doom Eagles. Anyone who knows anything about that particular successor chapter should help him out. No-one has even posted on his topic yet. I'm disappointed in you people.
Either be accepted by general consensus (as the majority here have been, we're old hands around the fluff forum) or get tested. We're not quite sure how to test people exactly yet, but Warmaster Psthisis passed a knocked up one by numberofthebeastxxx, after some very comprehensive posts in the fluff forum. But we have nothing cut and dried as yet; your best bet is to PM number (unless he nominates a few people, he may well get snowed with requests) with a few of the topics outlined already in this thread.black cherry said:I was wondering how do other similar minded fluff masteres apply for status
