Tactical Squad Spear Strike Formation

The Tactical Squads in a Space Marine company will form the core of any assault they make. Experienced in all forms of warfare and well versed in strategy, a single commmand squad can be expected to carry a variety of battlefield roles. Working together, several Tactical Squads from the same company can advance as a spearhead into the teeth of the enemy, firing off murderous boltgun volleys at short range and providing covering fire to allow their Battle-Brothers time to charge the enemy after firing. Once they have taken ground from their enemies, they will not fall back again until ordered or until they are killed to a man.
FORMATION:
3-10 Tactical Squads. One Squad must be designated as the speartip.x
SPECIAL RULES:
Strike Force: All squads in the formation must be deployed within 12" of the speartip squad, or if coming on from reserve, the formation must enter the table within 12" of the point entered by the speartip squad.
Battle-Brothers: Tactical Squads in the formation may use rapid fire weapons and assault in the same turn, provided that they are within 6" of another unit in the formation when declaring charges (declare all charges for units in the formation before moving charging models).
Note that this does not allow them to charge if other circumstances prevent it, such as dismebarking from a vehicle, deep striking or firing heavy weapons.
