Hey all, with he new allies rules I want to start a small Death Korps of Krieg list to use as allies and eventually a smaller army list. So I have found the ForgeWorld PDF army list but what I was wondering is that Imperial Armor books do I need to get to have all the units/rules or lists I would want to have, and is it safe to assume I would also want to pick up the standard Imperial guard codex as well? Many thanks in advance.

i don't have IA books, i hear that this kind of list has MOST OF the units, but there are also some other units in FW that can be used and are probably newer than the book.
wether you need the imperial guard book aswell, i cannot tell.

cool thanks for the responce, the PDF army list has points and model stats but none of the weapons and and wargear rules (vox caster, banners, ect.) witch i assume is in the IG codex, so is anyone able to tell me, is it possable to run a DKoK list with only the PDF and IG codex? Thus saveing me some cash on the IA books?

so are imperial special rules, such as handing out orders to infantry squads and platoon-deployment)
i don'think however, that your pdf lists the army special rules.
for example: i know the Elysians have extra rules like regrouping under xx% and being able to get valkyries as dedicated transports. Normal IG cannot do that so it's only in the IA book.
if the pdf doesnt show those rules, you could still use them as standard IG instead.

You don't need any Imperial Armour books to use the DKoK army list on the Forgeworld site. The exception are the super-heavy tanks which aren't in the PDF but are part of the fluff and background.
